Think Happy Be Happy: Salesperson’s Personal Happiness and Flourishing

Although the role of positive emotions is important in sales, personal happiness remains understudied selling context. Grounded broaden-and-build theory, this study aims to examine relationships among happiness, job involvement, satisfaction and salesperson flourishing. For salespeople, new demands a connected world have largely blurred boundaries between their life work life. It has allowed from spill over into workplace. Data 137 salespeople retail context India lend support for proposed serial mediation model. The authors propose that influence on flourishing mediated by involvement satisfaction. Results shows direct salesperson’s effective only through mediating not involvement. This extends theory proposing may at work. findings illustrate need renewed focus emotions, especially todays workplace where are shrinking
